Crandall in Illinois (1843-1877)

Prudence Crandall lived more of her life in Illinois than in any other state, yet this is the period of her life for which we have the least material evidence. I am completing an article about this conundrum. Follow this page for more information.

In June of 2022, I traveled to Troy Grove, Illinois, and spoke at the dedication of an Illinois Historical Marker in Crandall's honor. The pictures below are from that event, held on June 25, 2002.
